So much more than a tea cup, this general purpose earthenware drinking vessel is great for hot or cold tea, coffee, water, sake and spirits.
With a simple rustic style, this rounded Japanese cup has a solid feel that's good to hold. A smooth wash of off-white glaze covers the top half and inside of the cup with the unglazed earthenware pottery visible on the bottom half.
The soft natural tones have an informal, under-stated look to create a relaxed setting.
The cup is about 7.5 cm (3") tall with a diameter of 9 cm (about 3½"). It holds around 260ml (about 9 fl. oz).
