Breezy conversation over a cup of tea can help us relax and forget our worries... you never know, it might even solve some!
The larger size of this general purpose Japanese cup makes it great for serving hot and cold drinks such as tea and coffee and it's also good for water, soft drinks, sake, wine and spirits.
The simple rustic style, beautifully rounded shape and solid feel make it comforting and ergonomic to hold in your hand. A smooth wash of mustard yellow glaze covers the inside surface and top half of the cup with the unglazed earthenware pottery visible on the bottom half.
The soft natural tones have an informal, under-stated look perfect for a relaxed setting.
The cup is about 7.5 cm (3") tall with a diameter of 9 cm (about 3½"). It holds around 260ml (about 9 fl. oz).
