Tea for two can be fun but sometimes it's nice to have a moment on your own. So don't just save your finest tea for guests, make a delicious pot for yourself!
This unique Japanese teapot has been specially made so that you can make a smaller amount of your favourite loose leaf or herbal tea. It will hold a full 240ml of hot water but the large infuser inside reaches very close to the bottom of the pot so that you can just fill it with enough for one cup.
The teapot comes in white with a pretty muted red dahlia flower design that goes right around the pot and onto the lid. Each red flower has a bright yellow dot at the centre.
The knob on the lid is positioned and shaped so that you can hold it on with one hand as you pour (but please be careful if you have small hands).
The cute design and unique shape makes this a charming piece for everyday use and it occurred to me that, without the infuser, the pot would also make a very useful jug.
Teapot holds about 240ml of liquid.
Fine Hasami-ware porcelain, made in Japan.
