Sending actual sushi would be a little impractical so how about the next best thing?
This cute Japanese greetings card features a pretty sushi design in soft colours with small gold foil highlights on a pale yellow background.
Across the middle in pink is a 3D representation of 'mizuhiki', the traditional decorative cords that adorn gift wrappings and envelopes, particularly those containing money. In the centre of the misuhiki is the familiar green 'haran' fake grass used to pack sushi.
On the reverse of the card a small 'gunkanmaki' sushi detail completes the look. Feeling hungry yet (or is that just me)?
The card is printed on high quality, slightly textured paper stock. It bears no message on the outside and is blank inside for you to send your own greeting. Inside is a loose leaf for you to enclose a gift such as a voucher or money.
Included is a matching cream envelope.
Made in Japan.
