Shiba inu dog Shibata-san features on the front of this cute Japanese greetings card with the message 'o tanjoubi omedetou' in Japanese script; in English that's 'Congratulations on your Birthday'!
On the inside of the birthday card he kicks his heals in time to the music in a cute 'pop up' scene. Alongside him is the Japanese phrase 'suteki na hitotoshi ni narimasuyou ni' which means 'It will be a wonderful year'.
The cut-out of the dog character is mounted on a metal spring giving it movement and a 3D effect.
