This lovely ceramic Mino-ware plate has a softly pearlised matte finish with a detailed Japanese sakura design. The base colour of the dish is a very soft blush pink that seems to change in tone from almost white in bright daylight to soft peach in lower lighting.
The dish has a bit of depth to it, like a shallow bowl, and it would make a gorgeous serving plate for salads, vegetables and hors d'oeuvres or sweet snacks, fruit, petit fours, desserts and cakes.
The bowl itself has a subtle oval shape and curving edges which add to its unique and unusual style.
Note: Because of its delicate metallic decoration and print, the plate is not safe for microwave or dishwasher.
