Enamel Measuring Jug 900ml - Lemons

Lemons from the Setouchi region of Japan are milder and sweeter than other varieties.  The bright yellow fruit and shiny green leaves evoke sunny islands, fragrant citrus groves and the sparkling Seto inland sea.

The smooth enamel coating is durable, easy to clean and resistant to stains and odours.

These beautiful enamelware pieces are made in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, a region renowned for its metalworking craftsmanship.  Each design is carefully hand-applied to the glossy enamel surface.  The fresh lemon pattern was created by Plune, a Japanese textile designer whose fun and colourful illustrations bring warmth and personality to everyday life.

This tall measuring jug holds up to 900ml (about 31½ fl oz) of liquid with measurements marked on the inside from 300 to 900ml in 50ml increments.  The jug measures about 14.3cm (just over 5½") high by 10.5cm (just over 4") in diameter excluding the handle and pouring lip.

Made in Japan.

This jug is enamelware on a stainless steel base.  Do not use in the microwave oven.

Product Care:

• Do not use abrasives or sharp objects to clean enamelware as this will scratch and damage the enamel surface.
• Dishwasher safe, but take care with abrasive cleaners.
• The edges of enamelware products can be susceptible to rust so wipe away water after washing.
• These items are individually produced and finished by hand so there may be small marks from the firing process or slight unevenness in the enamel coating.  This does not affect the quality of the product.
