Enamel Measuring Jug 400ml - Apples

Japanese apples are sweet and juicy, perfect in fact!  The careful production of such beautiful fruits means they are considered a luxury and sometimes given as gifts.

This pretty white enamel jug features a colourful apple design in yellow, pink and blue. 

As well as being lovely to look at, the sturdy jug is a useful kitchen addition for measuring milk, cream, vinegar, wine and all kinds of other ingredients.  The smooth enamel surface is hard-wearing and resistant to stains and odours.

These enamelware products are made in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, where the patterns are carefully hand-applied to the beautiful glossy enameled surface.  In fresh, bright colours, this cheerful fruit design has been created by Plune, a Japanese textile designer whose works add colour and fun to your home.

This smaller measuring jug holds up to 400ml (about 14 fl oz) of liquid with measurements shown in 50ml increments inside the jug.  It measures about 7cm (2¾") high by 10cm (4") in diameter excluding the handle and pouring lip.

Made in Japan.

This jug is enamelware on a stainless steel base.  Do not use in the microwave oven.

Product Care:

• Do not use abrasives or sharp objects to clean enamelware as this will scratch and damage the enamel surface.
• Dishwasher safe, but take care with abrasive cleaners.
• The edges of enamelware products can be susceptible to rust so wipe away water after washing.
• These items are individually produced and finished by hand so there may be small marks from the firing process or slight unevenness in the enamel coating.  This does not affect the quality of the product.
