Cranes have great symbolism, not only in Japan but across the world!  From joy and celebration in ancient Greece and Rome to harmony, elegance and longevity in Japan.  What lovely philosophy to bring to your table setting.

These handmade fabric placemats pair a neutral linen with a vibrant Japanese patterned panel.  The cotton fabric features an opulent design of cranes, fans and flowers in pinks and purples on a sage green background, all embellished with metallic gold print.

The table mats are double sided with a plain brown cotton  fabric on the reverse.  All the seams are fully enclosed to give a neat finish with no visible raw edges.

Each placemat measures 42cm wide by 33cm high with the Japanese patterned panel being 20cm wide.

Note:  The Japanese pattern varies on each mat and may be different to the images shown.

Care & Washing

Handwashing only is recommended.

Iron on the reverse, or by covering the pattern with a cloth to preserve the gold print.
