The pretty speckled colours in the design of this glass sake jug resemble a flurry of sakura and plum blossom to make you feel that Spring is just around the corner no matter what time of year it is.
The pink, blue and white coloured glass design is applied by hand so each jug is unique. On the outside the glass is textured which not only enhances the lively pattern but helps you hold the jug which may be cold and have condensation on the outside.
With this type of jug, known as a 'tokkuri' in Japanese, and the matching cups you can enjoy drinking warmed or cold sake in the traditional Japanese way.
