What a useful spoon! And so pretty you'll be looking for any excuse to get it out the drawer.
This small spoon, about the size of a normal teaspoon, has a smooth, durable white enamel coating. I've described it as a 'sugar spoon' because it's ideal for keeping in the sugar bowl but it would also be great for measuring out other ingredients such as salt, loose leaf tea, seeds and grains.
It would also look lovely as a small serving spoon for jams, pickles and other condiments.
The enamel products in this range are handmade by craftsmen in the city of Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Some items show the marks of the crafting process, for example where they have been hung in the ovens, which gives them an individual appearance without impairing the quality.
