What deliciousness is hidden under the lid of your futamono? Soup, vegetables... whatever you're serving it'll be warm and comforting!
'Futamono' is a lidded bowl commonly used in Japanese cuisine to serve a warming stew, seasonal soup or vegetable dishes.
These ceramic bowls have straight sides, a close fitting lid and a subtle textured wave design. The colour of this one is a very pale, almost grey, blue called 'Moonflower' after the night-flowering orchid.
They will complete your Japanese table setting and give your 'teishoku' or multi-course 'kaiseki' an authentic feel to impress your guests!
Safe for the dishwasher and microwave oven.
Minoware, made in Japan.
