Enamel Mustard Spoon

£4.00 each
Sorry, this item is not in stock

I always say 'small is beautiful' and this tiny spoon fits the bill!

Called a 'mustard spoon' this type of spoon is traditionally used with an old fashioned cruet set to serve up a small amount of the hot stuff (that's English mustard to the uninitiated).  Of course, you can still use it this way for mustard, wasabi, horseradish and other strong condiments.

However, I also find it useful for measuring out strong spices such as chilli and paprika, not least because my teaspoons are too big to fit in the top of the spice jars.

The enamel products in this range are handmade by craftsmen in the city of Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.  Some items show the marks of the crafting process, for example where they have been hung in the ovens, which gives them an individual appearance without impairing the quality.
