Sometimes, Japanese cooking requires a delicate touch! Chopsticks are the right tool for the job but don't get your hands too close to the heat.
Japanese chopsticks are usually quite short but these extra long chopsticks or saibashi are especially made for cooking.
At 33cm, the extra length means you can stir, turn and handle food whilst cooking without getting your hand too close to the heat.
These pretty ones are made from bamboo. They have white polyurethane coated handles and feature a retro clover flower pattern in pink.
Each chopstick measures 33cm (13") in length and about 0.5cm (about ¼") across at the widest end.
