Back to school already! I can't believe it, where did the summer go?
As the season changes it's time to get serious about work again and stop daydreaming about lazing in the garden or on the beach.
So how can we cheer ourselves up? I'm a great believer in getting organised as this can take away a lot of the anxiety we sometimes feel about starting a particular job or project.
Knowing that you're armed with the right tools and have everything to hand means you can concentrate on the task and get on with being your usual creative self.
In the office or when studying, this usually means stationery. Pens, pencils, erasers, scissors… It's no good going into a meeting and scrabbling around in the bottom of your bag for a manky biro that blobs ink all over your pristine notepad. What you need is something lovely to keep them all together!
I think it makes a big positive difference to have a few beautiful things around you. Why would you choose dull ones! Having nice stationery is one of those small luxuries that can make sitting down to work a pleasure rather than a chore.
