A patchwork of Japanese textiles makes a homely design with a hint of heritage and nostalgia.
The array of patterns on this small Japanese plate are inspired by floral and geometric designs used in traditional kimono fabric. The patterns have been patched together and linked by 'kintsugi' style lines and triangles.
The whole effect is finished with a pretty scalloped edge.
At just over 12cm diameter (about 4¾"), this small shallow plate is ideal for serving soy sauce, pickles and other condiments but would also look beautiful with small side dishes, starters or fancy desserts.
Safe for dishwasher and microwave.
